More Bahrain flight to Costa del Sol

Malaga Airport has enhanced its flight connectivity by adding more Bahrain flights to its list of destinations. Gulf Air has revealed that it will be operating its most extensive flight schedule on the Costa del Sol to link it with the Kingdom from 16th June to 29th September. This marks an increase from the previous high season with three scheduled flights each week instead of two.

The airline stated that it will boost the number of direct flights per week between Malaga Airport and Bahrain International to three, with flights operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The enhanced frequency and extended operating period are in response to the strong and sustained demand for travel between the Costa del Sol and the Middle East, as well as select destinations in Asia and the Indian Ocean. With convenient connections to top destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Colombo (Sri Lanka), MalĂ© (Maldives), Muscat (Oman), and Riyadh and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), the route will be operated using the airline’s flagship aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Additionally, for certain destinations, the layover time in Bahrain is only slightly over an hour.

The Eva Bretos, the director of Gulf Air’s office in Spain, remarked that “it’s an absolute pleasure to announce that we’ll be extending our direct route between Malaga and Bahrain for another year. Our performance in the Spanish market has shown consistent and sturdy growth year on year. Our company’s unique proposal as a boutique airline, the establishment of a new and contemporary terminal in Bahrain, and the renewed commitment of the country to establish itself as an emerging tourist destination in the region have all contributed to the growth. These developments have enabled both corporate and leisure travellers from Spain to continue to thrive. The well-connected and fast routes to significant destinations in the Middle East and Asia via Bahrain, coupled with the outstanding in-flight service, have been warmly embraced in the market.”
