Heathrow Airport by Car

Terminals 1,2 and 3 are close together at the centre of the airport. From the M4 take exit at junction 4 and follow the signs for the airport. From the M25 exit at junction 15 and again follow the signs for terminals 1,2 and 3.

Terminal 4 at London Heathrow Airport is located in the southern section with its own entrance. From the M4 you will need to take exit 4b and then take the M25 until junction 14 (heading south) and then follow the signs for Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport. If you are on the M25 then just take junction 14 and follow signs for the terminal building.

The latest addition to Heathrow is Terminal 5 which is located on the far west of the site with its own entrance. To get to Heathrow terminal 5 you just follow the same motorway exits as for Terminal 4 but follow signs for terminal 5.

Car Hire Heathrow Airport

Being one of the busiest airports in the world and the closest long haul airport to London there are a number of car hire firms providing services to passengers.

Collecting Passengers fro Heathrow Airport

If you are collection anyone from Heathrow Airport you will need to park at the short stay car park. You are not permitted to sit in your car at the drop off points and will be moved along by the police of you try.

Heathrow Airport by Train

If you are travelling to the airport from central London the easiest method by far is to use the Heathrow Express from London Paddington. It runs a service every 15 minutes and the journey time is just 15 minutes

Heathrow Connect

This is an alternative option from London Paddington operating every 20 minutes. The difference with this service against the express service is that you stop at other stations meaning your journey time is around 26 minutes

London Underground – Heathrow to Central London

If you are on a budget or looking for the most economical way to get to central London from Heathrow Airport then the underground is your best option. The Piccadilly line operates a service which takes just under an hour.
