Jet2 Increased Flights To Malaga 2023

As the travel industry starts to move back to pre-pandemic times and the majority of restrictions across the world for travel are back to normal, some of the service providers that were affected the most are starting to see strong and increased demand.

One such company is the low cost ariline Jet2.com who have seen an upsurge in the interest for the Costa del Sol and have therefore agreed to strengthen their commitment to one of Spain’s busiest airports, Malaga Costa del Sol Airport.

The British owned Jet2.com has stated that they intend to increase the number of seats available on their flights to Malaga Airport by some 4% this summer, which in real terms means an increase of 15,000 seats. This means they will fly in excess of 350,000 people between their UK hubs and the Costa del Sol in the summer of 2023 with a peak of 63 flights per week.

That of course is excellent news for the Costa del Sol as UK tourists still make up a very large and important percentage of overall visitors each summer.

Jet2.com has 10 UK hubs from which they offer direct flights to Malaga Airport. In the sought of the country they fly from London Stanstead and the newly added route of Bristol. In the midlands they fly from Birmingham and East Midlands. In the north they fly from Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle. From Scotland they fly from Glasgow and Edinburgh and from Northern Ireland from Belfast Airport.
