More Jet2.com Flights

Jet2.com, ranking as the sixth largest airline in terms of passenger volume at Malaga Airport, is reinforcing its commitment to the Costa del Sol. The British company anticipates welcoming approximately 400,000 tourists to the province this summer, marking an 8% increase compared to the corresponding period last year. The same volume of seats will be available for individuals journeying from Malaga to various UK airports.

In the upcoming summer high season, Jet2.com will establish direct flights connecting Malaga Airport to ten British destinations, with a peak of 70 weekly operations, as outlined in data provided by the company. During the preceding summer season, the airline operated a maximum of 63 flights per week.

As the third-ranking company responsible for transporting the most British travellers to the Costa del Sol, Jet2.com will facilitate direct flights from Malaga to Bristol, Leeds-Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, London-Stansted, East Midlands, Belfast, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. Additionally, the airline has disclosed plans to introduce the Liverpool route in the summer of 2025, linking the province of Malaga with its eleven operational bases in the United Kingdom. Jet2.com emphasized that this presents a unique opportunity for travellers from Malaga to explore one of the cities renowned for its charm, culture, and British entertainment.

The Costa del Sol holds strategic significance for Jet2.com, with the company announcing an expansion of 29,000 additional seats to accommodate tourists visiting Malaga this summer. The same number of seats will be added to facilitate travel for residents of Malaga to the ten British destinations. Among the 13 airports where Jet2.com operates, Malaga Airport will secure the fourth position in Spain.

Over two decades ago, Jet2.com initiated operations in Spain with a flight from Leeds that landed in Malaga. Twenty-one years on, the company continues to enhance its offerings on the Costa del Sol, a destination where Jet2holidays, the principal tour operator in the United Kingdom, collaborates with numerous coastal hotel establishments. In the previous year alone, Jet2holidays operated in 120 hotels and 17 resorts in the province.
