There is a small runway at Gibraltar Airport which when not in use is the main access road to the main town of Gibraltar. Sometimes if it is too windy Gibraltar Airport arrivals might be redirected to the nearby Malaga airport.

Once arrived at Gibraltar you will need to walk a short distance from the plane to the main terminal building where you will go through passport control and customs.
