Barcelona Airport Arrivals Information Guide

If your flight arrives at Terminal (T1) at Barcelona Airport you will pass through the gates and passport control and find the relevant baggage reclaim by using the screens provided. If you are on a domestic flight arriving at Barcelona Airport you will go through the area called the Sky Centre (with no passport control) and find the baggage reclaim area.

Once you have located the reclaim area at Barcelona Arrivals you will exit to La Plaza (the square). This is where you will meet anyone waiting for you are car hire representatives. Also here are the car hire desks and access to public transport and taxis.

Like all airports there are the national taxis operating outside of the airport. In Barcelona they are a different colour scheme than the rest of Spain (white and blue stripe), they will be yellow and black. Please also double check tariffs as they charge additional fees for picking up / dropping off at the airport, additional fees for luggage and sometimes additional fees per passenger.

Uber also operates in Barcelona and you can use the app in order to book your car and driver. Just go to the exclusive parking area in each terminal to meet your Uber chauffeur.
